Practical guide
Run a focused department review
Turn a reported exception into a specific, accountable next step.
Prepare the review
Choose a department and one decision. Sales can review conversion or account movements; collections can review overdue balances; HR can review authorised workforce records. Finance should reconcile measures, while operations and admin check the records and handoffs they own.
Use a repeatable agenda
State the question and period, inspect the metric, then inspect the records behind the exception. Note freshness and missing information. In customer relations or lead management, confirm the relationship history before choosing a follow-up.
Record responsibility
Write down the observation, evidence references, uncertainty, next action, owner and due date. Do not treat a sample dashboard as a task assignment. Use your approved work process to assign and confirm the action.
Close the loop
At the next review, check whether the action happened and whether the evidence changed. Avoid attributing improvement to the platform without a defensible comparison. Use a small repeatable review before expanding to every department.
